Exterior · Service 05
Paint polished for depth and clarity.
Machine and hand polishing of painted aircraft surfaces to remove fine swirls, oxidation, and surface haze. The result is restored clarity, deeper reflection, and a wet-look gloss across fuselage and wings — without touching the clearcoat aggressively or exposing primer.

Process
4 stages, executed on the airframe.
1–2 days
- 01
Paint inspection
Walk the airframe under multi-source lighting. Note swirls, oxidation, water spots, and clearcoat condition before any pad touches paint.
- 02
Decontamination
Wash and clay-bar pass to lift bonded contaminants. Polish only works on a chemically clean surface.
- 03
Controlled polish
Dual-action machine polish with foam pads. Compound and pad combination selected by paint hardness and defect depth — never aggressive enough to risk the clearcoat.
- 04
Hand finish
Final hand pass with finishing polish and plush microfiber. Reveals depth, clarity, and gloss without leaving holograms.

Materials
Aviation-grade only.
Compounds
Aviation-compatible polishing compound, tiered by cut and finish.
Pads
Foam cutting and finishing pads, microfiber for hand finishing.
Machines
Dual-action polishers, controlled speed and pressure.
Protection
Decals, trim, sensors, and probes masked before work starts.
Time on aircraft
1–2 days
Mid-size aircraft with light swirl marks completes in a day. Heavier oxidation or full-airframe correction extends to two.
Best for
